HOW TO TAKE THE GED TEST
- Create an account on www.GED.com
- At the top of the website page, click on "About the Test", then click on "Scheduling"
- Select either Computer Based Test or Paper Based Test

4. Select your preferred language
5. Select the test subject(s) you want to write
6. Choose your testing centre
7. Select a date
8. Scroll down and click to See All Available Times
9. Confirm everything is correct and click Next to finish setting up your test.

WHAT'S ON THE TEST
To obtain your GED certificate you are required to write and pass five GED tests:
Writing, Reading, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.
The Writing test has two parts: 50 multiple choice questions and an essay.
The Mathematics test has 2 parts: 25 questions for which you can use a calculator, and 25 questions without using a calculator.
The Reading, Social Studies, and Science tests are all multiple-choice questions
Writing, Reading, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.
