ACADEMIC UPGRADING ONLINE

Tara teaches our Academic Upgrading Online Program. She has been teaching with us since 2009, both in the classroom and online. Her favourite subject is Math.

Before starting our Online Program, learners will be assessed to make sure their academic skill levels for Reading, Writing, and Math are strong enough to work independently online. It is recommended that their Reading Comprehension be at a Level 2 Step 3, and Math and Writing at Level 2 Step 1. If they need to upgrade Math or Writing, it is highly recommended that they join an Adult Learning Classroom for a few weeks to upgrade those skills before going online. If that is not an option, then a study plan will be made to help them. Learners must have access to a computer and internet to work online. Learners are expected to complete at least 6 hours of course work each week and keep consistent contact with me.
