WHAT'S ON THE TEST
The Canadian Adult Education Credential is a series of 5 tests:
- Math (Part I: No calculator; Part II: Calculator)
- Reading
- Writing
- Social Studies
- Science
HOW TO TAKE THE TEST
- Create an account at www.caec.vretta.com.
- Book the test online at least 24 hours prior to your test time.
- IMPORTANT: Arrive early for your test. The test system will automatically start at the designated time.

- Come in for an assessment of your current skill levels and one of our qualified teachers will discuss your options with you. Contact Us today.
- Determine Your Eligibility on the GNB website.
- Review Test Outcomes, which outline the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass each test.
- Watch this Video to to learn more about how tests are formatted, written and scored.
- Take the Practice Tests, which are available for all tests in both English and French.
